Lone Mountain Elementary School offers a range of academic and recreational programs for more than 550 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school maintains a library that stocks over 15,000 books, music CDs and research materials. Lone Mountain Elementary School also features a computer laboratory and parent resource center. The school has a work force of nearly 20 teachers. Lone Mountain Elementary School provides various learning opportunities for gifted children. Additionally, the school conducts classes in English, music, physical education, mathematics and visual arts. Lone Mountain Elementary School offers a variety of food items for lunch. The school has received the A+ award from the Arizona Educational Foundation. Lone Mountain Elementary School operates a student council and several clubs. The school is a part of the Cave Creek Unified School District, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools.
