I am a runner and avid exerciser, and about a year ago I started getting knee pain. I initially saw an orthopedic Dr., who could not find anything wrong in the x-rays, but said that if the pain didn't go away in a couple of months, that surgery may be the only option to relieve my knee pain. I mentioned this to Dr. Kuty, and she explained that knee pain is usually related to tight IT Bands and a buildup of adhesions, and recommended that I come in and see her. Luckily I did, because the treatments of her manually stripping out the adhesions around my knee, along with special stretches and exercises using a foam roller, and applying wet heat on my knee using a special rice sock, my knee pain is now GONE! I notice that if I don't do the stretches and exercises on the foam roller regularly, the tightness/pain in my knee starts to come back. I now know that I DO NOT need surgery; I just need to continue doing the stretches and exercises on the foam roller, and see Dr. Kuty as needed, and I can run, do yoga and all of the boot camp type of workouts that I enjoy doing, pain free!!! I highly recommend Dr. Kuty. Her approach is a holistic one and, I believe, saved me from having knee surgery!

Dr. Kuty is absolutely incredible and that's something I can't say enough! I started to see her several times for my shoulder and neck pain, but I've become a loyal patient and I have recommended her to several others who are just as satisfied. Dr. Kuty really takes the time to talk with me about any or all of my health concerns and gives me some great pointers.

Wow----I can see why you were Valedictorian: The meralgia paresthetica that you diagnosed me with yesterday is fifty percent better today. (After one treatment!) I looked on the internet and read that it's frequently misdiagnosed and sometimes treated with cortisone shots or even surgery.

As you know, when I first came to you I was pretty discouraged about my chances for shoulder recovery and had built up some mistrust after my less that satisfying visits with the Mayo clinic and other chiropractors. I thank you for your expertise, for your positive encouragement and for the increasing ease in my body.
