Established in 1985, Air Evac Lifeteam is a full-service provider of air ambulance services. Based in Scottsboro, Ala., the company is a part of Air Evac EMS Inc., which is one of the largest membership-supported air medical services in the United States. It operates numerous fleets of more than 100 medically-equipped Bell 206 long ranger helicopters. Some of its services include clinical care, patient care, emergency response and more. Air Evac Lifeteam caters to several areas that include Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana and Iowa, to name a few. Air Evac Lifeteam is accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems.
