Who We Are: Go Green! Landscape Supply was founded in 2008 by South Shore native Tim Lopes. Tim worked in Corporate America for years, traveling all over the globe for his job, but often wondered if there was something more he could be doing, for his family, his town, and the world. In 2001 he left the business world and entered the local green recycling industry where he felt he could really make an impact. Seven short years later, he founded his own company to further make a difference. Go Green! Landscape Supply is now the South Shore's leading supplier of mulch, loam, stone, firewood and other eco-friendly landscape supply products. What We Do: Using the latest green recycling technology, we turn one man's trash into another man's treasure. We take grass, leaves, brush, stumps, trimmings, etc. and recycle them into the hearty products we sell. We have a great partnership with the town of Scituate that allows residents to drop off their green waste with us at no charge. This saves residents money, and saves the town money as well because it's keeping it local rather than shipping it out to recycle! Our mission is to help people beautify their yards and help the planet by doing it through recycling green waste.

Don't buy the organic mulch. It grows hundreds of mushrooms and maple shoots. The owner was not helpful in resolving the issue and told me I did not know what mulch does. I realize weeds do come through the mulch but this stuff grows so much more than that, I have never had a mushroom and maple tree problem. You will have 10 times more work to do, if you order this product. The owner does not back his product and would not help resolve this problem. Save your time and money and order mulch from someone else.
I am sorry that Eric G had this experience with Go Green. I own Go Green and we take great pride in our products and services. I can personally guaranty that there is never any pine in the firewood that we deliver. We have great quality control with the firewood that we sell. If Eric G would like to contact me personally, I would be happy to discuss a positive solution with him. Rest assured that we sell over 1000 cords of firewood per year because our firewood is exceptional.
Ordered two cords of their traditional firewood which is advertised as 100% hardwood, cut to 16 inches and under and stored on an asphalt pad to keep it clean and well seasoned. Well what I received was two cords of very dirty wood of which well over half is pine and cedar and approximately 25-30% is over 16 inches many up to 21 inches. If you order I would recommend you take a good look before you allow them to dump the wood.
