Schalmont Central School District is an educational institute that provides regular as well as special academic education. Based in Schenectady, N.Y., the group of schools provides various services, such as adult education, health/safety resources and a library service. Additionally, it organizes athletic programs, including golf, tennis, wrestling, modified swimming and cheerleading. The school district consists of elementary, middle as well as high schools, such as Jefferson Elementary, Mariaville Elementary, Woestina Elementary, Schalmont Middle School and Schalmont High School.
