Established in 1970, Schaumburg High School is affiliated with the Township High School District. The school enrolls more than 2,500 students and has certified staff of more than 190 and noncertified staff of more than 100 individuals. The courses offered by the school include art, photography, science, French, German, and environmental science. It also has various class clubs, including freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior class club. Schaumburg High School also offers career programs, such as business professional of America, future health care professionals and home economics related occupations. Its sport activities for boys and girls include cross country, golf, football, tennis, volleyball and soccer. The school is recognized by the Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. It is located in Schaumburg, Ill.
