General Info

I was born and raised in California and earned a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California San Diego. I moved east to attend New York Medical College and then completed a residency in Family Medicine at Brown University in Rhode Island. I am passionate about medical education, currently serving as the Family Medicine Clerkship Director and Associate Dean for Community Health Affairs at New York Medical College. Clinically I have been in private practice and health clinic settings, providing health services for all ages from newborn to the aged. I especially love supporting patients as they adjust to life changes such as new parenthood and in helping them adopt healthy lifestyles. After many years of seeing patients in our current system I decided that I needed to change the way healthcare is delivered. I love family medicine because I am able to deliver comprehensive care and have long-term relationships with my patients. But I wasn't able to deliver the care that I wanted to give in the 10-15 minute appointment slots. I am pleased to be able to practice in a new model where I can spend time with my patients, connect with them through the use of technology and provide a personalized and elegant healthcare experience.
