Bacon District Elementary School is a part of Charlotte County Schools, which serves more than 150 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The elementary school offers an education to students through courses in a variety of subjects, such as art, health and physical education, language arts, mathematics, music, science and social studies. The school offers a range of special programs that complement the core academic instruction, including counseling, computer applications, band and vocal music. Located in Saxe, Va., Bacon District Elementary School has a library that offers several reference and general reading materials. The educational facility additionally organizes book fairs, field trips and award assemblies.
