This is a wonderful addition to our community. The food served at this establishment is consistently phenomenal. It is fresh and healthy (often using locally grown ingredients) and always well-prepared and flavorful. Whether you stop in for a sandwich or dine on Jeff's wonderful grilled scallops, risotto and asparagus, it is always excellent. The pastries are also to die for. Don't leave there without a brownie or one of their big cookies. The Saxapahaw General Store is about even more than the wonderful food. It is truly a gathering place. I seldom go there without seeing a neighbor or meeting a new friend. If you haven't been here, by all means go!
