I needed to have the filter changed, bands tightened, and the shift points adjusted for quite sometime. I was concerned over finding a shop I could trust to do the work without burning me and telling me I was due a rebuild. My 1974 AMC Javelin was in dire need of this basic service. The mechanic took the keys and we went on the test drive and was told since I lived near by he could drop me off and call once the car was ready for pick up. As promised, he called and let me know it was ready and had a detailed list of what all was done and showed me before and after pictures. No shop has ever done that for me, to provide a detailed picture and then review the service was a change of pace to the normal just pay and go.

Took my work van here as a last resort. We had a problem that 2 other shops and the local Ford dealer said they could fix but did not. Here, they listened to the symptoms and said I think I know what`s wrong. Sounds like a plugged converter. He was right and had my van done very quick and running in less than 2 days. I had a problem with my transmission and of course I didn`t have any idea what exactly was the problem. I called Savannah Transmission Specialists and left my car in their garage. On the next day I recieved a call from them. My car was fixed and the price was unbelievable. More than twice cheaper that what I expected. Thanks guys!!!
