The organization also provides educational programs for the development of life skills. It operates a helpline that offers information on topics related to schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression. The National Alliance on Mental Illness operates a store that sells books, brochures and posters. The center also publishes a magazine that provides information related to mental illnesses.
