Bartlett Middle School has been operational since 1963 and is located in Savannah, Ga. The school provides academic classes to more than 750 students in grades six through eight. It offers a range of activities and programs, such as after-school care, Saturday school, educational talent search and male day. The school s sporting curriculum includes football, basketball, track and field, cheerleading, softball and volleyball. It offers an accelerated reader program, which is a curriculum-based assessment tool that enables teachers to monitor the quantity and quality of reading practice engaged in by the students. The school teaches special education, art, math, science, social studies, English, language arts, technology, health and physical education. Bartlett Middle School is affiliated with the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System.
