Ellis Elementary is affiliated with the Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools. It was founded in 1929 and enrolls students more than 500. The school offers classes from prekindergarten through grade eight. The school s curriculum includes science, reading, writing, mathematics, social study, health, music, physical and special education. It offers a wide variety of sports activities, such as soccer, softball, track and field and basketball.
