I was sent to Gramaco to select the specific slab I wanted to use in my kitchen. Selecting was a trial since their levels of granite are not marked and responses to questions are intentionally vague. As a result, I was very skillfully steered toward the granites they wanted to sell by working on my emotions and visual appeal. (BTW, I have been to other showrooms that clearly separate their products by levels so that the customer does not end up going on a wild goose chase). After 2 visits, I finally decided on 2 stone types, called the day ahead to let them know I was making my final selection--only to get there and be told that the stones were not exposed so I could not see them either of them! I was specifically and repeatedly encouraged to select a particular stone without seeing it. Punch line? Stone arrives at the fabricator so damaged and cracked that it can't be used! No wonder the granite was hidden. Be warned! What you see is NOT what you get!
