I arrived Early July to open up our family cottage outside of Cedarville. The sceptic was not working I knew not why. It was a very busy busy time for Dave with a lot of cabins being opened. He couldn’t come immediately but called me back regularly to update when he would come. He actually ended up coming within a day of my original call. Unfortunately it is a family run cabin and records of sceptic design and maintenance were unavailable. Dave and Nate were great detectives… located the system and analized the complicated problems. They performed orderly troubleshooting, couldn’t get it repaired the first day… however they returned promptly the next day with required parts. When it was evident that to get a problem free sceptic we were going to require a pump out he had the contacts to get a pumper out within a few hours! His team was fantastic! A few days later I was relaying my experience to a long time UP resident up by Lake Superior she asked who did I get for the repair? I told her North Country Excavating and she said Wow! At a busy time… You got the BEST and on such short notice! Well I agree! I highly recommend Dave to anyone needing sceptic help!

These guys came over to clear my sewer line of tree roots. They were great guys who did a very professional job, while they also explained what they were doing and why. Although you would expect every business to perform this way, my experience tells me that they went above and beyond. In addition, they did this on a sunday afternoon and at a more than reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone I know and wont hesitate to call them again.

They Came the same day even though they had a couple people ahead of me and the took the time to get my drain unplugged and made sure it was draining probably. Very friendly and helpful I definitely would call them again. Thank you for your excellent service. And the price was decent.

I have had these guys do work for me for over 20 years. They plow my snow in the winter and mow my lawn in the summer and do a awesome job. They have put in a septic for me as well as many other jobs over the years. They are both hard workers and do everything they can to do the best job possible.

I hired this company recently to work on my septic tank and they did an amazing job! They were fast and dependable and charged a very decent price for all the work they did, while doing a very great job. The owner and son were very friendly and very knowledgable with their work, answering all of the questions I had. I will definitely be recommending this company and calling them back again for any other work that I need done! Awesome company, owners, workers, and pricing!!!

I hired them to help thaw my drain field. The owners son sat in the truck the whole time while I assisted him then he billed me for hourly time for both he and his son. Caveat emptor, and get a firm quote prior to any work if you're hiring these crooks.

I have dealt with this company on a couple of occasions for different excavating jobs and each time they have been a pleasure to work with. This company does a wonderful job, with very friendly employees! When they tell you a day and time they will arrive to look at and complete a job, they are there on that day and time. Furthermore, they are very cost effective for the quality of their work. I have tried other excavating companies in town for previous jobs but none of these companies could compare to North Country Excavating and their eye for perfection. I will continue to use this company for any future jobs I may need to have completed around my home and will also continue to recommend this company to my family and friends because, out of all excavating companies in town, this company cannot be beat! He is much more friendly to deal with than owners of other companies I have dealt with by far!!!
