Dr. Gilligan at 4 paws is fabulous. In this age when virtually all vets seem to just be running a for-profit business, Dr. Gilligan REALLY cares about the animals.

I have not been impressed with service and costs at Four Paws lately. My cat had vomitting, diahrea and would not eat. After a number of tests, and $280 later, the vets at Four Paws could only tell me that they had found nothing wrong. After that, they said they wanted to do a $140 x-ray. Instead of more pointless tests, I took my cat home. When he got home I watched him go to the bathroom and a giant tapeworm came out! I looked up tapeworms in cats on line, and my cat had all the symptoms! I treated him and he returned to his normal self after a couple of days. Couldn't a college educated vet suggest we try deworming first, before we spent all that money?
