I had just the opposite experiance. My neighbor and I had a similar problem. They had a survey that did not agree with the markers that were already in place from a survey done by a prior owner of my house. The guy from Otte & Dwyer was very helpful, even met with me and my neighbor. We were in a big hurry because we were trying to have a pool put in and Otte & Dwyer got the work done quickly so we didn't have any delay in getting the pool.

If you like pulling teeth, Otte & Dwyer is your best bet, because that's what you'll have to do to get service from this 19th century-style firm. "We do it our way, and when we feel like it" should be their motto. But the last straw for me was that my neighbor had a survey done on his abutting property, and his survey was over 2 feet off from the O&D survey which I had done on my property. When shown the differing results by my neighbor's surveyors, O&D wasn't concerned or interested.
