I took a fairly large amount of items, to me, to them for sale and I walked out thinking that I had been had. I went to my car and, upon returning, someone was saying talking about being happy about "skinning". To be fair I did not hear the whole conversation, but one knows when they are the subject of a conversation, especially when you see everyone's reaction to seeing one unexpectedly. The conversation stopped in mid sentence. Was I Skinned? the whole experience reminded me of a car salesman, but in a much more elegant setting. You can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear. I felt what I offered for sale should have brought more value. What I walked out with was perhaps 30% to 40% less than I expected and even that figure was based on a very low expectation of value from what I originally paid, current prices on ebay, extensive research at Numismedia's DEALER page, research at Heritage's sales archives. I will not be returning to this business and will offer my experience to all.
