Oak Park School serves more than 350 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. It offers a range of educational programs for students with mental, behavioral and emotional disabilities. The school provides occupational, physical, speech and pet therapy options. Oak Park School offers character education and vocational training services. The school also provides instruction in the use of augmentative communication devices. It offers after-school care programs for children between the ages of 5 and 12. In addition, Oak Park School organizes Special Olympics and sports training and athletic competitions. The school administers a parent-teacher-student organization. It is governed by Sarasota County Schools.
