My parent has been at this facility for about 6 weeks so far. We visit every day. I believe the staff cares and the food is very good. You can get an alternative from a list of menu items if you don't like what they are serving on a particular day. The biggest complaint I have is that they are slow so respond when they are needed to help a patient go to the restroom. We have been there and have had to wait a half hour to get someone to come and have had to go get someone eventually. I noticed a bell going off in another room and no one was aiding that person. There were at least 2 or 3 nurses/aides in a room talking within earshot of the bell, but no one responded. I don't know if there was a legitimate reason. The therapist care, the nutritionist goes out of her way to help. The case manager and onsite doctor seem to have genuine concern. I appears they need more help in the general patient care arena than anything else. Not a bad facility and better than a lot of others.

If you are looking for a nice quality ALF care, contact TBI residential in tarpon springs florida, I have a personal friend that was actually a patient there after a serious head injury, leaving him 80+% paraylzed and in a wheelchair... I visited him there very frequently and was never anything but, impressed with the entire facility and care,

I can honestly tell you that our experience is not at all like the review previously mentioned. My parent has been at this facility for 7 months and has received the best of care. That said, a family member is most often there for dinners and some lunches. We are very involved with the staff who are all very caring. I think it's similar when children are in school and parents are involved-the more the staff knows the family cares, the more they care. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

we had a terrible experience here. my parent was treated just awful. they lie about the food.leave them alone to much. l had to take my parent out of this place. it was like in the movies, you put your loved one in and then the place just leaves them there and feeds them toast and oatmeal everyday. yes the menu and tour look great, but please beware.
