      Saranac Lake Office of Community Development advocates for and provides state and federally funded housing, and undertakes economic development, public facility, infrastructural, and recreation and community planning projects for the residents of Saranac Lake, N.Y. Located in Saranac Lake, the community development office provides a wide variety of services, including utility maintenance projects, tree replacement, and arts and cultural facility development. Its services also include restoration of restaurants and pedestrian bridges development, redesigning waterlines and development of public parks. Its water management plan is a comprehensive land and water use plan that addresses various issues, including waterfront redevelopment, public access, water quality protection, historic maritime resource protection, habitat restoration, and harbor and erosion hazards management.
