In a joint effort with its parent company, The Dixie Group, Masland Carpets operates a recycling facility that turns hard carpet waste into carpet cushions. The recycled cushions are non-toxic, odor resistant, provide insulation, prevent carpet delamination, act as sound absorbers and impede bacterial growth. Masland Carpets was founded in Pennsylvania in 1866. The company s distribution center can store 20,000 rolls of carpet and houses the facility where all rug designs are manufactured. Masland Carpets has authorized retailers throughout the United States and Canada.
