San-do-ryu self-defense systems is a complete Mixed Martial arts system teaching both Stand-up and Ground Self defense. All students will be trained in street self-defense as a Priority along with Traditional aspects of Karate, wrestling, chokes and locks, kick boxing, and Free sparring. Classes are now forming for students 13 or above. San-do-ryu self defense systems also offers Samurai Sword lessons. Instructor Jerry Cichon is trained and certified by the Satori-ryu Budo organization out of Nashville Tn. ran by 7th dan Sword Master Dale Kirby. We teach all aspects of Japanese Sword including Iaido, Katori-shinto ryu and Satori-ryu techniques, All students will learn to use a live Blade in the course.
