The Rose Inn is a perfect get-away for people who want a quiet Homestay with peace and tranquility. We are a NON-SMOKING ESTABLISHMENT. The Americana room is very comfortable and spacious with a Queensize pillowtop bed and a private bathroom. For your convenience & comfort a Lazyboy Chair (electric) that reclines & a walkin closet is provided.. Amenities include shampoos, hairdryer; a bedside table, a lamp and large table which can be used as a desk The room is Centrally Heated and Air Conditioned. Available for your use is a Refrigerator, Toaster, Microwave & Guest Pantry. A light breakfast is served 8am - 9.00am each morning on the deck overlooking the greenbelt. The Inn has good public transportation including the Trolley which goes into most of the major points of interest in San Diego and also to San Ysidro which is the border to Mexico and Tijuana and is home to great Outlet Malls. It is an easy walk across the border. Trolley cost $5.00 roundtrip. This is an easy 1 day trip. Rose Inn to San Ysidro is approx. 1 hour. Great shopping in Santee Trolley Square, fine restaurants and a Broadway style Theatre on weekends. Santee Lakes (there are 7 of them) are very scenic and within 10 minutes of the property
