- TrustsMr. Bailey obtained his B.A. degree from U.C. Berkeley in 1980 with dual majors in economics and history, and received his law degree, with honors, from Tulane University School of Law in 1984. Mr. Bailey obtained his license to practice law from the State of Louisiana in 1984, and from the State of California in 1990. He received a Diploma in Taxation from the University of San Diego for one year of graduate tax law work in 1989 focused on tax planning for businesses and estates. During the years 1986 to 1990, the U.S. Treasury Department employed Mr. Bailey as a District Counsel attorney, representing and advising the IRS on tax litigation and collection matters. The National Association of Estate Planners and Counselors awarded Mr. Bailey with the Accredited Estate Planner designation in 2009. The State Bar of California certified Mr. Bailey as a Specialist in Taxation Law in 1992, and a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trusts and Probate Law in 2010.
