General Info
We will assist you in solving your home or commercial property’s environmental problems by offering inspections for indoor air quality, mold, radon and asbestos. We focus on common environmental problems which occur because of building construction, materials and maintenance; as well as home products and appliances that may have a negative effect on the air you breathe. Whether you are buying a home, doing remodeling or worried about your homes effect on your familys health, we offer a common sense approach to environmental hazards and inspections. Moisture and mold damage needs to be evaluated. Is this a simple cleanup by a handyman, or does it require professional remediation? If it does need remediation, we can write the required remediation plan and do mold testing after completion to ensure the job has been completed. Underlying drainage, HVAC, and ventilation problems will be documented in our written report.Whether it is a major remodel or a small remodeling project, we offer asbestos and testing to comply with local city and Air Quality Management District (AQMD) regulations. Asbestos requires lab testing at an outside lab. What about that junk in the crawl space or attic, is it harmful? Regular home inspectors are not trained to fully evaluate possible environmental hazards. We can help you get a clear picture of your new homes environmental health. We quantify what it takes to fix problems we find, to help you make good decisions.Do you want peace of mind about the air you are breathing? Did that old roof leak we fixed last year create a problem? Worried that your home may be making your family sick? Undetected moisture/ mold problems arent the only environmental problems to be on the lookout for. Our certified environmental inspector has a unique background as a home inspector, a licensed general contractor and an indoor air quality specialist.
