I hired Bickel's to replace my furnace and ducts and it was the job from hell: his team contaminated my house with asbestos as documented by various experts. In 2014 the Contractors State License Board found Bickel's guilty of numerous violations related to working with asbestos without a proper license and not carrying workers compensation and fined him. My home was contaminated at 675 times the "safe" limit for asbestos after Bickel's job. I was forced from my home for 6 weeks while asbestos crews in white haz mat suits cleaned my house until it was livable. He told me I could bury the asbestos containing pipe in my back yard and left an asbestos containing pipe on my front yard. Please check his contractors license and hire someone else. If you've previously had him do work on your house, please check it for asbestos.
