I've been going to Ivy's for years & they are AWESOME! I've tried other nail salons & NONE of them can hold a candle to the expertise Ivy's provides. Paige does a KILLER mani every singe time & NEVER disappoints! Gotta love this place!

My nails and toes look great, Christina and Carlos were very friendly and the cost was supreme for such a good job. Best affordable nail salon I've been to in Santa Fe. I asked to not have my cuticles cut and they didn't push it, just did as I asked, which is the first time THATS ever happened. I'll be going back next time I want my nails done.

The salon is clean and I've never experienced a very long wait (more than 10 min) even when they've been busy. The pedicures, both gel/shellac and regular, that I've gotten have always lasted well and looked nice. The previous owner, Ivy, sold the business sometime in 2012 I think to her long time employee Carlos and his wife. They both do a nice job and their new employee V (a young man in his 20s) does really excellent work. Everyone speaks very good English and seems to understand when to converse with clients and when not to. Unfortunately, the weak link here is the daughter of the owners. While she is a pretty typical 20-something, her attitude really brings the atmosphere down. She's a bit loud and rough around the edges language-wise (and I'm not conservative, but it just doesn't seem to fit there). She is always complaining about the hours they work, or when she gets to go home. It feels a bit like she thinks this is a 'cool' thing that everyone does about their work, but when I'm paying some $25-35 for your service, and I tip you well, I don't want to hear all that. She can't seem to wait to get back to her smartphone between clients and because I've had pedicures done by literally everyone that works there (I've been a regular for years), I can definitely say hers are the least in quality. She doesn't seem to want to go to any extras and everything seems like an effort. The last time I was there I actually wondered if this was going to be a deal-breaker for me and whether I'd look elsewhere. If I were more friendly with Carlos, I might suggest that he speak with her about professionalism. Take it for what it's worth, if you can put in your earbuds and block it out, this is one of the best places in town.

I do not do "reviews." This is an exception to my rule. After going to one of Santa Fe's bigger name salons, receiving less than stellar service by a technician who was more interested in who was coming in the front door than in doing a service for me, but had no qualms in charging me a premium, I looked for another nail salon. Ivy's was recommended and I was thrilled with my manicure and pedicure!! I am going again today.

I am also from Santa Fe, and Ivys Nails does a fantastic job in making you feel like a queen and looking like one when you leave. Very clean.

Wow

Ok so I have my nails done often. I am from Santa Fe. I do have to say that Ivy's Nails is great! They're friendly, and very sanitary. I have to give them 5 stars for being the best that I have had in this State.

I'm not into leaving reviews, but I had a pedicure there over 4 weeks ago when my 'regular' place couldn't see me. Ivy's took me without an appointment and did a fabulous job! It's over 4 weeks and my toes STILL look great! The red polish never chipped (until last night) and I'm going back today and will continue to use Ivy's. The one flaw is they asked me if I wanted them to remove my callus and I said 'sure!" then they charged me 3 bucks for it. It felt amazing, just be aware of what you're paying for.
