Pomeroy School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and language arts. The school offers special education programs for students with special needs. Pomeroy School operates several student organizations, such as a student council, safety patrol, and homework and marathon running clubs. It also offers after-school sports programs, including football and volleyball. In addition, the school provides remedial speech pathology and preschool extended day care programs. Pomeroy School also conducts sessions in gifted and talented education. Located in Santa Clara, Calif., the school is a part of the Santa Clara Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
