Atypon Systems provides electronic publishing software and related services for scholarly publishers and other content providers throughout the world. Atypon has two electronic publishing propositions, Atypon Link and Atypon Premium, which together provide online content hosting solutions to more than 65 publishers. The company s clients include major Web sites, such as Blackwell-Synergy, Annual Reviews and CrossRef, as well as mid-sized commercial and nonprofit publishers. Atypon Link provides a managed e-publishing solution to a growing group of international publishers, including Walter de Gruyter, the American Marketing Association and Thomas Telford. Other Atypon services include PDFplus, a complete linking solution for publishers. Atypon was founded in 1996 and has headquarters in Santa Clara, Calif. It has additional offices in New York and Oxfordshire, England.
