The Training Room is a unique clinic that combines state of the art fitness and sports training with enhanced rehabilitation of all sports and orthopedic injuries. Located in Santa Barbara, The Training Room is directed by Dr. Mark Brisby who has over 30 years experience in athletic training and sports medicine. The Training Room coaches all hold national certifications and/or doctorate degrees and have over 80 years of combined sports medicine and training experience. The Training Room trains elite athletes, executives, adolescents, individuals recovering from injury and anyone who has general fitness as their goal. The Training Room rehabilitates all musculoskeletal injuries.

I've gone to Dr. Brisby for over twenty years. When I've had a problem he's had me come in for an appointment, helped me with my problem and I have called back only if my problem persisted...which wasn't often. The majority of other chiropracters would require you to come in on a schedule for a couple of months...for a total of 10 to 20 visits. He's told me before if he could help me or not with a problem. To me that's as ethical as it gets. He doesn't run up a bill just because you have insurance.
In my experience I''ve found Dr. Brisby and his staff to have always been professional and ethical. I have recommended him to friends numerous times.
After a car accident I went to Dr. Brisby for several sessions that he told me I needed. I paid in full almost $2000. However, Dr. Brisby is friends with the person responsible for rearending me in the accident I was in and refuses to release my records so the insurance company can resolve my claim. He also told the trainer he prescribed for my treatment to hold off on sending my records and receipts to the insurance company because he is friends with the party responsible for the accident. In order to get reimbersed the insurance company needs copies of medical records. The insurance company and I have tried getting copies of my records, which I have a rite to, for months but Dr. Brisby's office refuses to release my records because he wants to help his friend out. I regret ever going to him, he is unethical and untrustworthy. When a doctor is untrustworthy and shady there is no telling how far they will go with their bad practices.
