In April of 2008 I used this service to inspect a home that I was about to purchase. Since I received a favorable report on this property from Housemasters I have had to replace several foundation piers that were rotted out and replace all water lines that were not identified as recalled product. These seem to me to be fairly large issues and should be fairly obvious to a professional home inspector. I have since used a different service to reinspect Housemaster's work. Needless to say, I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I hired this service to inspect a home I was about to purchase in April 2008. According to the inspection report all was pretty much "good to go." Not perfect ... nothing is ... solid. Since the close of escrow I have had to have the house repiped because the plumbing which was named in is a class action law suit was not identified. I have also had to replace four foundation piers (one of which had completely collapsed), make repairs to the vapor barrier that had multiple holes in it, some over 12" long, and repair one floor heater duct that was hanging loose from the floor. I would not recommend this particular franchisee to mow your lawn much less inspect your home. Beware!
