By far, the BEST place to board in SB!!! Three beautifully groomed arenas including a full-size dressage arena and 1-acre jumping arena (with awesome NEW jumps!). Access to miles and miles of trails, including nicely groomed trails on the property (and GORGEOUS views of the ocean)! Stabling options for every budget. But by far, my favorite aspect of the barn is the PEOPLE. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, from the staff to the boarders! The new owner is making every improvement possible for the comfort and safety of horses and people alike. All of the trainers are wonderful, we really have a great group here! No matter what your discipline, you will LOVE Amapola!

I Absolutely love Amapola! All of the staff there are very nice and helpful. It is a quiet, and peaceful place thats great for scenic, ocean view trails, dressage lessons, and hunter jumper lessons. All three of their arena's were just re-done so they have top of the line footing. Amapola has a wonderful owner, Rob, who has done a great job at improving the place! Also, Rowena, the barn manager, is a great help. She can answer all of your questions, and keeps an eye on the horses. There are also three wonderful trainers at Amapola Jonathan, Linda, and Sarah. Jonathan is a grand prix rider, and teaches the hunter/jumper discipline with assistant trainer Carolyn. They can take you from never riding before, to the highest level of jumping. Linda teaches eventing. She also is great with getting laid up horses back into work! Sarah teaches dressage and jumping.
