Want an org@sm for your senses?

Must try Shabu Shabu Bar on 17th Street next to Chipotle and OSH!

When we opened the door, we were greeted by a cute asian girl and many more behind the counter. The place is sweet! Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. The place was almost full and the music was upbeat.

Well, I realized we were not eating sushi, but who cares with all this eye candy. Since I never had Shabu Shabu before, I asked for a recommendation and another cutie told me to have the ribeye. I asked if that was the best and she said the wagyu was the best. As I glanced over the menu, I noticed the price tag on wagyu and decided to order kobe instead. She smiled and nodded and I felt her vibing me now.

She recommended the house cold sake so we got a large and it disappeared instantly. We ordered at least another 3-4 large bottles since she continued to drink with us.

When the vegetable plate came out, I was shocked since I have never seen vegetables like these before. Do I eat these or take a picture of it? They looked perfect and too pretty to eat. My cutie decided to help me put some vegetables into the pot and show me how to Shabu Shabu. I wanted her to show me more! Minutes later, she brings my kobe out and the meat looks like artwork too. Each slice is perfectly placed on the plate. She asked if I wanted white rice or brown rice for a $1 more. i usually don't eat rice but I figured the brown rice is probably better since it's a $1 more, so I went with the brown rice. It was pretty good and healthy she said.

I eat quite a bit of steak and don't use steak sauce since I prefer high quality meat. I was eating my kobe and vegetables without any sauce and everything tasted so fresh and delicious. When my cutie noticed that I was not using the sauces, she said I should dip my meat. I wanted to dip my meat in her but settled for the sesame sauce. There's a funny guy who kept calling it liquid gold and would not shut up about it. He was so money, that sesame sauce was liquid gold! Once I finished the kobe I poured the rest of the sesame sauce on my brown rice and devoured it. The citrus soy sauce was good with the vegetables and on the scallop I stole from Evan. Beth and Tiffany had a good time too but they always have a good time since they are Shabu Shabu regulars.

I could not finish all the vegetables, but my cutie made me a bowl of noodles using the water that cooked the meats and vegetables. She told me that in the process of Shabu Shabu the water becomes a natural healthy and tasty broth for the noodles. I was so full, but I forced myself to finish those noodles she made me.

We were about to burst and then this new guy shows up to offer us free dessert. We could not pass up the offer and each tried a different flavor of mochi ice cream. What is a mochi any way? kinda chewy, but good.

I love their expression: an org@sm for your senses. Dinner was truly amazing from the cuties that helped us, to the amazing food art, and gourmet flavors.

Evan and I will definitely be back to visit our cuties and try those hot shots soon.
