This National Rent a Car location is the best. I am and Executive Elite member and I never experienced better customer care and friendlier staff anywhere! This is by far a fist class location. I had a chance to interact with the manager on my last rental. He was amazing. Well done National!

Easy, fast pick up. Easy, fast drop off. What more could you want? Became an Emerald Club member and it's that easy.

I had a truly horrible experience at this location last night.



As I got to the gate to be checked out, the man at the booth tells me to rudely hold on. He then ran after the vehicle he had checked out. As he ran after it he bumped my vehicle. This bumping was repeated a few times.



He came back, ran after the vehicle again.



He came back 2nd time and this time he went to the vehicle behind me to check him out. His coworkers were also checking out other vehicles behind me all the while ignoring me.



After what seemed like 10 - 15 minutes he comes back and proceeds to check me out muttering that he was sorry and thought that someone else was helping me.



I complained that I was receiving poor service and he became argumentative and yelled that he was only one man.



Another man in a tie then entered the booth asked what was going on, when he was briefed, he said nothing as if he didn't really care.



I can ignore one of these things but when combined they are truly horrible.

Rented a SUV during Christmas/New Years week in southern California. Vehicle did not have any problems. Only suggestions are: National-please add the Blind Spot detection option to your rentals. Will make your vehicles safer for your customers AND possibly save you money in repairs!! The only other suggestion is to make sure the INSIDE front window is cleaned. My was filthy. National is always my choice because of the professional staff, Emerald Isle ease and the vehicles are always newer, lower miles and just nicer than the competition.

Love National and their fresh approach to getting great cars (normally a single or double upgrade) through the Emerald Aisle and Club membership.

We've been coming to this location at SNA for a couple of years now. The Emerald isle idea is great, but the Executive isle (mere 12 annual rentals to qualify) is the 'real deal'! One gets the choice of great vehicles at substantial discounts. Just make reservation on-line, then go right to the Isle, select your vehicle and drive it to the check-out booth. That simple and straight-forward. Returning the vehicle is just as efficient. The ground crew at this location is also super. Over the many years renting, we've tried Avis, Hertz and others, but National is definitely the right brand for us.

Have rented from National at their SNA location a few times, but it has been a while. Due to the amount of time since my last rental, I got a little lost trying to locate them. But when I finally got to their location, I was very happy to see the very nice selection of available vehicles. Will definitely rent from them again.

Never been disappointed in the cars or the service. Quick and EASY, especially when you belong to the Emerald Club. Recently when I picked out my car and got in line to check out, the line was 3 cars deep in front of me and one of the check out attendants walked to my car for my info so he could expedite the process and I didn't have to wait more than 2 minutes. Nice touch and attention to detail!

In and out were fast and easy, the car was great and the experience, as always, was what you'd expect from a world-class organization.

I always rent from national. I am an emerald club memeber. Their rental process is no fuss. Just show up, pick a car, and you are on your way. no waiting in line to get a car and key. Service is always great and car return process is quick and easy.

I like the " Any Car in the Aisle" policy. This eliminates the problem if something is not working or if the car provided is not the one you like. The service at the centers is very good. Small things like a bottle of water that most take for granted makes a difference. The rates are very reasonable. This is one of the best values in the marketplace.

I rent here often for business trips. Usually is a very efficient process to get off the plane, walk across the street and go down two levels on the elevator, walk out to the emerald aisle, and pick a car. Never have had a car issue related to mechanical, interior functions, etc. Only issue (not an issue but an observation) that I had recently was that there weren't any GM cars available last time due to all the recalls. There were GM trucks, SUVs and vans and then Japanese or Korean brands. Since I usually prefer a GM car, this was something different. I used a Toyota car but don't like them as much as an American make. No fault of National but due to GM recalls.

Good experience. The cars in the Executive Elite aisle at John Wayne airport are newer and MUCH cleaner than those at LAX. The convenience of having the rental facility and cars on site can't be beat.
