Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five and offers a variety of learning opportunities. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as mathematics, social studies, science, reading and writing. The school also offers after-school learning, education technology, music, outreach, reading first and volunteer programs. It has a library that stocks a variety of reading and reference materials. The school additionally has a parent-teacher organization that conducts various fundraising activities. It is a part of the Santa Ana Unified School District, which serves more than 55,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12.
