Founded in 1995, Design, Community & Environment specializes in planning, urban design, landscape architecture, transportation and environmental review. Based in Berkeley, Calif., its in-house capabilities include GIS, computer-aided design (CAD), computerized graphics production, visual simulations and report production. Design, Community & Environment is a Green Business certified firm and a recipient of the 2009 Sacramento Valley Section APA Award. Some of the firm s clients include Bay Area Economics (BAE), Lamar Advertising Group, Hillside Homes Group Inc., Affordable Housing Associates and California Urban Water Conservation Council.
