Last week Tustin Hyundai informed me that my 2009 Genesis with 175,000 miles would need a new transmission. This repair would exceed $10,000. Since Bluebook is $4,500 it didn't make much sense to spend that much money on it. I was about to call a local charity and donate it for the write-off. After reading the reviews on YP for this AAMCO I decided to have AAA tow it over there and get a second opinion. Anthony Monks called me as soon as it landed and started to troubleshoot the problem. I know for a fact he even sought advice from a specialist in Germany. He also called me multiple times to give me updates. To make a long story short the car is running like a champ and the repair bill was almost nothing compared to the alternative. I haven't taken the time to write a review on YP for at least 5 years. The service Anthony gave me was exceptional. I only wish he had relatives at the DMV:) Cheers to you Anthony.....

First I was told that if I paid $150.00 they would diagnose the trouble with my car and tell me the total cost for the repair. I was then told everything could be fixed for $748.00. I approved the repair for $748.00. When I went to pick up my car it had the exact same problem. Then after 3 more days they told me that now they needed and extra $2,000.00 to fix the problem. They then said that the $748.00 was needed to see that I now needed to pay an additional $2,000.00.



They threatened me. They told me in front of the police officer that they illegally record the phone conversations without letting their customers know. They charged my credit card without authorization. I had to have the Santa Ana Police Department come to the location before they would give me my car back.



Stay away from this place, they are a bunch of thieves.

I took my mustang to this shop and they treated me with great professionalism. The manager of the outlet made sure that I understood the costs involved prior to the work being done.

I would strongly recommend this shop to anyone looking for great service at reasonable cost.

i just went in to have them do a diagnostic on my car and get an estimate on a valve body replacement and i walked out with my air conditioning not working, my "break" light on for no apparent reason and an ECL light on as well. i went back inside to let them know this had happened and they all were careless, one guy came out and checked my car, said i was low on break fluid and seemed not to care that my car was now making a beeping noise, a noise which continued on the whole way home.now not only do i have to deal with my valve body being messed up but all these other minor things that surfaced when they went in to do the diagnostic! you want your car fixed? go somewhere else, unless you want a whole new set of problems with your car that need to be fixed and the culprits blaming these things on you.
