General Info

My passion for science and experiences in volunteering at many health festivals while growing up helped influence my decision to become a doctor. Being a doctor is a specialty that allows me to connect with people and to help them during their greatest time of need. The greatest reward that I have encountered as a doctor is to see how medicine can be utilized as a powerful tool to help break cultural barriers. Every patient is unique and has their own story. In order to help them in the best way possible, I like to approach each patient utilizing a biopyschosocial model, which means taking into account the intricate, variable interactions of biological, psychological and social factors that contribute to a patient's illness presentation and outcome. I treat each patient as if they are a part of my family. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing music (trumpet, piano, guitar), basketball, and fitness.
