In business since 1948, Landrys Furniture Barn Inc. offers quality furniture Landry's Furniture Barn Inc. has been selling fine furniture in the York County community since the 1940's. It began as a furniture and appliance store on Jackson St., behind Stanford's House of Pizza. It was then known as Landry's Furniture Company, owned by Rene Landry until his death in the 1960's. It is a little-known fact that Rene's brother Rudy owned a second Landry's Furniture Company, in the town of Livermore Falls.in the Sanford, Maine area. The store integrated itself into a part of the community and thrived throughout the 60's and early 70's. It was in 1973 that the store, now owned by nephew Bob Landry, was envisioned as larger, packed to the gills with furniture, used as well as new. In 1974, Bob Landry's Furniture Barn Inc. opened on the corner of Main Street and Breary Avenue, 2 miles down the road.
