After moving from a small town in Maine where the closest KFC is 150 miles away we always considered it a treat. At the age of 48 I recently located to Sanford Maine and couldnt wait till we went to KFC. On our arrival we were greeted by a polite young lady and got our food and sat down. Within minutes a man in the back who had a long white beard, bandana, and numerous tatoos started yelling at one of the younger employees and continued to do this the entire time we there. I felt so sorry for the younger people in the back. I have worked at and managed many restaurant businesses so I realized it was not the staffs fault for the atmosphere in the restaurant. I do however feel bad for the owner of that franchise having left this man in the restaurant to represent him. I have a sad feeling it will be a long time before we return, and ironically i was there to ask for an application for part time work while attending a local career school..to bad businesses pass up good employees.
