East Sandy Elementary School provides academic instruction to more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school teaches various subjects, including math, science, social studies, art, reading and writing, speech and language, physical education, music and language arts. East Sandy Elementary School has a library media center that houses a collection of educational resources to stimulate the intellectual development of students and staff. In addition, the school has a parent-teacher association that sponsors various academic activities. It is a part of the Jordan School District, which operates more than 90 elementary, middle and high schools and serves over 80,000 students annually. East Sandy Elementary School has been operational for more than 40 years and is located in Sandy, Utah.
