I have visited every center in Sand Springs looking for the best place for my daughter, who is 2. I am very picky about cleanliness, hygiene, health, and academics. I want my child to play and learn during the day, but do it safely. Out of every center I visited, this one clearly topped the others--and at a reasonable price. The staff and teachers were friendly and even better, professional; after meeting her teacher, I knew this was the place I wanted my daughter to be. I spent 2 hours at the center just checking it out. I visited a few day schools after this one, but decided to go back. Today is my daughter's first day. We'll see how it goes. I will pull her out if I see anything unsatisfactory. I don't anticipate that I will, but I will re-post here if I do. After week 1, I love the teachers and staff at SCDC; I have had the opportunity to talk to them about all my concerns. My daughter is having fun and learning in a safe environment. My daughter first got diahrea for 10 days just for being there for 3. They didnt even make any apologies for it, or offer a refund. I gave them ANOTHER chance, and I walked in and in the baby room, the only girl there with 3 babies was rocking on a chair by herself and my daughter had red circles around her entire eyes like she had been crying for hours. She only gets tears when she cries for even an off and on for an hour. But to have eyes like she had been punched (but from crying) it tore me up. When she say me she started crying and in the 5 months of her little life she has never cried so happy tosee me. It broke my heart I wanted to just cry out loud I had to leave before I screamed out of desperation. I mean, IM IN SCHOOL! I need daycare and you trust them. They take your money, they dont care about the love, warmth, tenderness any of it that a baby needs. Please dont take your baby there. Oh yea, they called back and said I owed for the day they ignored her.

I don't know what the person from a year ago found but I have found nothing but loving caring staff, a clean well kept facility and good nutrious meals for my child. This is a very unsafe to take your children. The daycare center physically and emotional abuses the children in there care. Yelling and screaming and grabbing young children as hard as the daycare people can in extremely uncalled for. The hygiene in that building is awful. The children are not taught to wash there hand after using the bathroom. They will even let the children starve for the day if something gets served that the children do not want to eat. In my opinion, DO NOT take your children to this Sand Springs daycare center.
