I went there after moving to the area two months ago. I found the staff our front to be very aloof and bordered on rude. I was disappointed as our vet staff in Chicago was so "up" and acted like our dog mattered. My session with the vet went well - no complaints. My return visit was an even BIGGER disappointment. Again - the women/girls at the desk were NOT friendly and very short. I waited 25 minutes in the lobby - so explanation why there was a wait - and once I was taken into a room I waiting another 30 minutes. Sitting in a little room wondering and waiting if you were forgotten was not pleasant. I have never walked out of anywhere in my life - but I became so disgusted I walked out. While waiting they offered NO explanation why I was waiting over an hour for a "recheck" visit. As I walked out I told a girl at the desk that I couldn't wait any longer. Her response, for the first time was very chipper as she said, "What's your dogs name. OK I'll tell them! Bye!" I have not heard from the office since and changed offices. While sitting at the NEW office I told the two women clients waiting about my experience. They BOTH had been treated the same way and left that office for that reason. I think if you are looking for a place where you can be treated with respect and feel comfortable - this WOULD NOT be the place. BTW we had the same vet for 11 years - so this isn't my practice or style to skip around or complain. But I was VERY disappointed.

I love Dr. Stitzer & Dr Vergason! They are compassionate, knowledgeable & great partners to ensure my pets stay healthy. They don't run up bills and instead are honest about a patients' prognosis so you don't spend unnecessary money just to extend your pets' suffering.



I drive across the entire Valley, 1.5 hrs, just to take my dogs there. I breed Alaskan Malamutes and they have treated over a dozen of my dogs, delivered 2 litters via Csection, helped me with bottle feeding, breed related DNA & genetic issues. They take the time to do research if you present them with a novel issue.



Recently they saved the life of my young male who went into anaphylactic shock. I am eternallly grateful to them!



The office manager, Andrea, is fantastic too as she's always available to take phone calls and coordinates the genetic & health clearances for my dogs. Their exam rooms are comfortable, clean & well sanitized; the waiting room is comfortable, spacious & nicely decorated too.

Extremely disappointed! I went there for 2yrs for my cat and dog. On my dog alone I spent over 3,000 dollars for various surgeries. I loved my dog very much. I thought they cared too till I ran out of money. My dog ate something that got lodged in his belly. I paid over 700 dollars for xrays fluids and tests then they told me they wanted 1500 more for the surgery. I would have gladly given it had I had the money but I was tapped out. They sent me home with some hairball remover hoping it would help him poop it out. My dog hadn't eaten in a week he was going to develop sepsis. I asked for payment plans or any help they could recommend. They said that he needed the surgery or he'd die. I then asked the next day after watching my dog suffer through another night if they could at least put him down. They said no because it was a fixable problem. It was disgusting. Won't help fix him or end his suffering. These people are money hungry monsters. Two days after I Gilbert animal hospital helped me put my dog out of it's misery. Ironwood called to ask How Bruce was doing. I told them terrible that I had to put him down no thanks to them and they said they'd have their office manager call. A week later I called, again I was told someone would call me back. Almost 2yrs later doesn't look like I'll be getting that call.

We moved here almost two years ago and I can say that this place gives great care to my 3 dogs. I have a german shepherd and two older labs. Never have had any trouble getting in and the vets are very helpful and knowledgable.

I just have to say that I was very impressed with the care and service I received from this facility. The staff was very knowledgable and took the time to teach me things but not force me to do things. I have never had such a great experience at a vet clinic.
