She is recognized as one of the leading pain specialists in the Tri-Valley area.Dr. Gutierrez attended medical school at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Zapopan, Mexico. She then completed her postdoctoral medical training at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, New York, followed by a residency in internal medicine, and another 3-year residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Metropolitan Hospital New York Medical College. Soon after, Dr. Gutierrez completed a pain management fellowship at Integrated Pain Management, Inc, located in Northern California.Dr. Gutierrez is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain medicine, and by the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians.
