Cabrillo Elementary School emphasizes basic education through its academic curriculum. It offers education in a variety of subjects, such as art, health and physical education, language arts, mathematics, music, science and social studies. Cabrillo Elementary School has a library that offers several reference and general reading materials. Cabrillo Elementary School is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District, which operates more than 100 elementary, middle and high schools. The school district also includes Franklin Elementary School, Lockwood Elementary School and South Gate Middle School. Cabrillo Elementary School is located in San Pedro, Calif., and serves students in kindergarten through grade five.
