The Department of General Services, governed by San Luis Obispo County in California, offers architectural, custodial, fleet, reprographic and utility services. It manages the construction process for the capital improvement projects of county-owned buildings. The department offers utility services in support of county-operated general fund facilities and buildings. It manages more than 300 utility accounts at over 100 active facilities using electricity, natural gas, propane and water services. The Department of General Services also provides reservations for county parks, as well as offers information on airports. Its custodial team covers an area of over 600,000 square feet and provides restrooms and personal work areas for county employees.
