Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County is a nonprofit organization serving low-income individuals and families by offering various programs and services, such s housing, employment, education and emotional health. It assists at-risk youth and their parents, older adult caregivers, single parents, and immigrants and refugees. The center offers various senior citizens programs, such as long-term care ombudsman, foster grandparent, nutrition, handicapables and friendly visitor programs. It also offers various legal services for immigrants, such as family visa petitions, political asylum applications, removal proceedings, administrative and judicial appeals, naturalization services and assistance, religious visas, special immigrant petitions for children in foster care, affidavits of support, applications for waivers of grounds of inadmissibility, notary public services, and document translation. It also offers behavioral health, employment and housing services, and youth programs, such as gang prevention and intervention, street outreach, truancy outreach and support, and the young women s empowerment project programs.
