When I called and talked to a tech, he told me that they could fix it and just bring it in. When I brought it in and talked with Mark, he told me the unit was too old and not repairable. He tried to sell me a replacement with exchange for $900. I declined. He immediately dropped the price to $800. I was about to go for it, but I knew a friend in LA who knows someone who used to work as a radio and TV repair man. I decided to give my friend a shot first. I shipped the unit to him and his friend fixed it in 15 minutes. The total cost was $20 for shipping and a case of beer. I talked to my friend and he said this guy Mark tried to sell me a replacement then he would fix my unit to sell it to someone else. I cannot believe this guy Mark tried to rip me off.
