San Jose/Evergreen Community College District provides a range of postsecondary academic and occupational programs. The district comprises the Evergreen Valley College and the San Jos City College. It provides general education, college degrees, basic skills instructions, economic development, adult noncredit courses, career training and community services courses. Its colleges offer a range of academic courses, such as alcohol and drug studies, business administration, communication studies, construction technology, English and economics. The other courses offered by the colleges include computer information systems, ethnic studies, history, health education, laser technology, humanities, math and music. San Jose/Evergreen Community College District serves more than 20,000 students each semester and is located in San Jose, Calif.
